What Happens to My Tooth After Root Canal Treatment?

Once the tooth has been cleaned and the infected matter is removed, the tooth is sealed with a filling. A bespoke crown is then created to fit over the top of the tooth, so that you are able to chew comfortably in the future and have a natural-looking tooth again.

Can You Help Me Feel Relaxed During Treatment?

Absolutely – we have a patient-centric care mentality at Meliora Dental. Some patients can benefit from having the procedure explained to them in detail beforehand, so that they feel comfortable with what to expect. However, if you’re particularly nervous about root canal treatment, we offer sedation to help you relax before your dentist begins treatment to preserve your infected tooth.
